Results of the figts:
- Beibut Shumenov (10-1). defended his WBA Light Heavyweight title by defeating Vyacheslav Uzelkov (22-0, 14 knockouts) in 12 rounds with a unanimous decision (117-109, 118-108, 118-108).
- Rico Ramos of Los Angeles (17-0) defended his North American Boxing Organization youth super bantamweight title with a unanimous decision over Cuauhtemoc Vargas (15-4-1) of Mexico City in an eight-round fight.
- Stan Martyniouk (10-0) took a unanimous decision from Jonathan Bobadilla (4-3) in a four-round lightweight bout.
- Ravshan Hudaynazarov of Las Vegas (13-0) defeated Pavel Miranda (16-6-1) of Tijuana, Mexico, via TKO when referee Marcos Rosales wouldn’t let Miranda come out for the sixth round.
- Fresno’s Michael Ruiz Jr. (4-0) took a unanimous decision from Juan Tepoz of Santa Rosa (4-4-1) in a six-round bantamweight bout. Tepoz took a nine count in the fourth round.
- Gayrat Ahmedov of Las Vegas knocked out Dallas Vargas of Toledo, Ohio, at 2:43 of the first round of their scheduled 10-round light heavyweight bout.
- Former Olympian Shawn Estrada knocked down last-minute replacement Eddie Hunter (4-3-1) of Seattle three times in the first round before the referee stopped the super middleweight bout.

- Junior Barriga, 8, slides into one of three pools at the Plunge.
- Ryenne Trimble, 8, begins her descent on the water slide at the Plunge Thursday afternoon. The community pool is open Tuesday through Sunday.
- Carlos Natividad, with This Old House Needs Fixin’, works on the front of Art Works Downtown Cafe underneath the Thursday afternoon sun.
- With tempratures expected to reach over a hundred degrees, Ashley Alaniz, front and her sister Jennifer Alaniz, cool off by playing at the water feature in downtown Lemoore.
- Julien Bernal takes his dog Petey to drink from the dog fountain after visiting the dog run at Freedom Park on Tuesday morning.
