Homeowners and lenders are the groups I first think of when I see  all the foreclosed homes here in California. But sometimes I forget that this problem can affect more people like Fred Fonseca (no realation) who owns a nursery in Hanford, Calif. Spring is around the corner and his sales are slow. His business has suffered because people are afraid to by plants and put an investment into a home they might lose in a year or two. Home builders aren’t ordering because the aren’t building as many new houses. The ripple effects of economics spreads far and wide.
