Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day and in many cities all over the United States people took part in drunken celebrations. But here in Hanford the residents of The Remington retirement home turned the day into a more worthwhile cause.
Bernie Stone (pictured above) donated a picture of himself so others at the home could place sticker kisses it. The residents did their St. Patrick’s Day take on the Blarney Stone. Each kiss represented a donation to the American Red Cross.
