The people at fstoppers.com recently did a fashion photo shoot using an iPhone 3gs as their only camera. The phone only has a only a 3-megapixel sensor. It goes to show that photographer isn’t limited to their camera. Great light and the photographer’s ides are needed to take compelling images. Bad pictures have come out of even the most expensive cameras.

Highway 198 between Hanford and Visalia Calif. will be expand to a four lane expressway. I shot the still photographs as well as using an iPhone to shoot the video.

Multiple Vehicles were involved in an accident on Excelsior Avenue north of Hanford on a foggy morning. I was sent out shoot still photos and video of the wreckage. It was shot entirely with an iPhone

I’ve never been big on the idea that buying the most expensive equipment will make you a better photographer. But at $10,000 the Leica Noctilux-M 50mm sure makes it a go for your money.

My good friend Mark Ince sent me a great link to a NPR article the other day. It made me wax nostalgic for the days of shooting with Kodak Tri-X, working in darkrooms, and the smell of fixer.
