Hamburger Eyes Short Video Documentary

Hamburger Eyes from Nick Fogarty on Vimeo.

This is a great short documentary video on the people behind the black-and-white magazine Hamburger Eyes. It’s pretty much a ‘zine made by those who love photography and they do it from the heart.

Nikon Festival: Available Light

I’m a sucker for good stop motion and timelapse photography. Matt Hill produced a great one with his Nikon D700 for the Nikon Festival. If you haven’t done so check out the festival videos and watch how people live their lives in a 140 seconds. And if you are so inclined submit your own.

28 Camera Drawings: A gift for your photographer

1914_artworkimage

If your still looking for a Christmas gift for the cameraphile who you think already has way too much photo gear  but wants more,  then this drawing by Christine Berrie might be what you’ve been looking for.

Berrie says, “I enjoy creating images that contain a lot of detail. In terms of subject matter, cameras are a current favourite, with a plethora of little buttons, switches, levers and dials. As cameras in the digital age become increasingly sleek, streamlined and monochrome in design, here is a visual celebration of vintage models from days gone by, created using graphite and colour pencil.”
